PAASCU Preliminary Visit 2025

In the continuous pursuit of academic excellence and quality education,
Notre Dame of Dadiangas University (NDDU) takes another step towards achieving its goals with
the PAASCU Preliminary Visit held last September 1-2, 2025. A distinguished team of accreditors
from the Philippine Accrediting Association of Schools, Colleges, and Universities (PAASCU) were
welcomed by the members of the university.
The two-day visit was focused on the initial assessment of five of undergraduate programs
offered by the university including BS Biology, BS Entrepreneurship, BS Hospitality and
Management, BS Tourism Management and the Bachelor of Library and Information Science.
To ensure a thorough assessment to the overall learning environment and instructional delivery,
the administrators, faculty members and students participated in a series of interviews, classroom
observations, checking of facilities and resources as part of the quality assurance process and
also, to evaluate the effectiveness of the program and its compliance to accreditation standards.
The success of the Preliminary visit has provided the university with valuable
recommendations towards the next phases of the accreditation process. The efforts shown by
the program heads, faculty, students and the whole academic community reflect their
commitment to the institution. This dedication clearly highlights the university’s drive for
academic excellence.
