NDDU Institutional Assembly 2025

To officially mark the beginning of the Academic Year 2025-2026, the faculty and staff of
Notre Dame of Dadiangas University gathered for the annual Institutional Assembly last
August 14, 2025 at Bro. James McKnight Auditorium. It is an annual gathering attended by the
administrators, faculty and staff, which serves as a day of unity, reflection and a preparation for
academic year ahead. The event started with a Eucharistic Mass, establishing the day’s foundation
in prayer, reflection and thanksgiving.

Following the mass is a vision towards the future as University President,
Br. Manuel V. De Leon, FMS, presented the President’s Thrust for the Academic Year 2025-2026.
It emphasizes the strategic key priorities and goals for the new school year. He also shared
essential updates of the university operations to the NDDU community, highlighting the
university’s vision and continuous commitment to leadership and holistic education.
The event also served as a platform for a historical event in the university, the launching
of the university’s Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) Hub, a collaborative space for students
and faculty that aims to encourage the community to be part of initiatives in pursuit of a
sustainable future. It cultivates sustainability, hope, teamwork and social responsibility, inspiring
today’s generation to become leaders with purpose and impact.

The university warmly welcomed the newly appointed administrators and personnel as
part of the NDDU community. Also, the university gave recognition to those individuals who have
dedicated years of service and unwavering commitment to the university through service awards.
The event concluded with a community singing, bringing everyone together in a spirit of unity
and shared purpose.
